Zac Efron FOOTLOOSE Filming STARTS IN SPRING

Paramount Pictures has fast-tracked 'Footloose,' to get the film ready for star Zac Efron and Kenny Ortega to start production next spring, reports Variety. Unlike 'HSM3,' Footloose' will aim for an older teen and adult demographic.

Zac is set to pen a mid-seven-figure salary. Though the original film wasn't a musical, some of it's songs are expected to be in the new movie. 'Footloose' had one of the biggest-selling soundtracks of its era and made a star of Kevin Bacon.
