I agree I rather Demi slowly become popular and slowly gains her own fanbase because at least she is getting ahead by talent alone. Whereas Selena quickly got popular because of the Miley and Nick rumors. I like Demi's unique personality, Selena only has the personality that she thinks Nick will like.
That is why when all is said and done Demi will outlast Selena because Selena did not get ahead by talent she just got ahead because she is the girlfriend of some guy who probably wont even be all that popular in a year or so and even if he still is, she surely wont be with him that long before he dumps her.
Whatever Demi > Selena in talent, being real and in life in general.
i think they're both talented girls in different ways. i think selena will go far with her acting skills if she learns how to relax and becomes more confident in herself.
