Hilary Duff Lizzie McGuire Part 2

Hilary Duff has just signed a deal with NBC to star in a new series, reports Variety. Hils' will also guest star in various current NBC shows and will meet with writers to find the right project.

Hilary starred in a 2004 CBS pilot that wasn't picked up to series; since then, she's focused on her music and movie careers. Her new films Safety Glass, Stay Cool and Greta are all due out in 2009. Photo: Fame.
