Megan met Nick & Joe at their hotel in London recently. New JB blog:
There has been so much happening recently. We have been working on the new show (JONAS), recording music, doing a few shows, etc.
This week was Kevin's birthday so we took the last day to celebrate his birthday with family, the band, and friends.
It is so awesome to stop and appreciate all that has happened
to us because of all of you.
We are writing this from the beach.. doing nothing! First time we have stopped in a while. Can't get better than this. We are already feeling refreshed.
Thanks for all the positive comments on the Skating special yesterday.
Also, thanks for the amazing response to our little SayNow message [Listen under]. Thinking we will be sending even more.

Recently, a lot of people said JB had changed.
They said they stopped being their silly selves.
Stopped making random vids.
Stopped saying 'I love you' to their fans.
Apparently JB heard them, because they quickly sent out a message through say
now reminding all their fans how much they love them.
I'm really glad that they still care :]

I love the Jonas Brothers, believe me, I do. I love them SO much, but it is true that they're changing.
But they are busy so it's not like they can do all the things that they used to. They're too famous for that. They can't do the old meet and greets because they would seriously get trampled and suffocate to death by all their fans. They can't do a bunch of random videos 'cause they're either on tour, doing JONAS, or going to an event.
Give them a break, people.
[And yes, I have to agree... that is a bad picture of Joe. He's handsome, but that picture doesn't show it all too well...]

The JB that people fell in love with was 2.5 years ago, these boys are growing up! They are obviously going to change. Think of all the other bands out there who don't message or talk to their fans AT ALL..JB does a lot for their fans, sure they are a lot more well known and famous and sure we've all noticed that they look tired and grumpy sometimes, but fans should stick by them no matter what.

I understand that they are busy. I understand that they are tired. I understand that they are growing up. I just don't understand why they are letting the fame get to their head. For most of us, 90% of our pictures suck even if we look half way decent. For Joe -- who is one of the most beautiful guys ever -- maybe 1% of his millions of pictures don't flatter and show his hotness, and you criticize.

i love the boys and yea you could say they changed. but they're growing up. they're not boys anymore, they are or becomming men. you can't always expect them to be the immature boys they use to me (and i mean 'immature' in an endearing, not bashing way). they can't say or do to much anymore, without it being taken the wrong way. they are quite poise and quite professional. i do think this life might be taking a toll, but they are on a well deserved break so hopefully they'll just chill for a while.

i think its true. In fact, you can see that their old videos were just random and that's what made them funny, but now their videos are so serious, and they're always talking about their shows, etc. i think its just not the same. i used to love them, now that they've changed, its not the same.

take it from a fan from the start, i saw them performing at a school in 04 yea 04 before they were famous, before disney a little school were no one liked them. they got booed of the stage. and tho no one else liked them, i dont know why but the MINUTE i saw them i knew they would be something big i new i loved them and from then on i was a fan, a HUGE fan. and being a fan fer that loong i do see they have changed but im not mad at it,yes i DO wish i still had my little silly boys, but people mature and beside the fact they work wif all grown ups. they grew up you should to.

I don’t know WHY he would be jealous of them, honestly. I don’t get it. With all the stuff going on, I don’t see why he wouldn’t appreciate the obviously better thing that he has going on. I get the sense now that he thinks he has something to prove when he really has nothing to prove at all. I mean, he’s Kevin Jonas for crying out loud. He’s the best looking with the best taste in books and music and movies and everything with this amazing girlfriend who loves him and these great fans who think he’s the nicest guy in the world, and then there’s Joe who has nobody in his life, except a vindictive ex-girlfriend who’s making everyone hate him even more than they already did and two brothers who don’t seem to want to have much to do with him, and no idea what he’s doing and nothing. If he really is mad at Joe (like I and some other people think he may be), I don’t get how that’s possible. How can someone so amazing not pity someone so pathetic and lost?
The thing is: I think people make a big deal out of the “popularity” thing. It seems to me that he’s more beloved than any of them. So what if people don’t want to marry him? They obviously love him a lot and think the world of him. I really hope he isn’t letting it get to him, but I think he may be. That really upsets me because I have such higher expectations for him than I do of Joe who, let’s face it, was a little bit of a failure to begin with. The poor little thing. XD

NICOLE----well, for one thing, Joe has never had lightsticks thrown at him because the "fangirls" wanted Nick and Kevin more(Yes, this DID happen to Kevin a couple of months ago). Joe is NEVER called names when he can hear them. Kevin has. Joe and Nick get TONS of signs at concerts. There have been a few where Kevin had NONE! Dont even get me started on that German talk show thing. Futhermore, only Kevin, Danielle, family and some close friends knew they were together. it is quite immpossible to hate these boys. with all they have done for us and how sweet and caring they are! I love them with all my heart! I always did and i always will. well, i love them soo much. i am prolly their biggest and truest fan, but i must agree that they have changed! you cannot deny it! what ever happened to the random youtube videos? and all the saynow messages? sure, they are much busier now, but still. and i love kevin, but why is it always just him that does everything? he hasntt changed one bit! and i love it! i agree, but i don't think the change was intended. i don't think it was fame going to their head. i just think they are too use to everything. i also think the fans are another part of it. we have gotten crazy. nick can't even go into the crowd without getting raped. they barely can take pictures in public or sign autographs because there is always tons of fans and their bodyguards don't think it's safe. they don't bring anyone except little kids on stage. you have to now win meet and greet passes, but that's partly because of the number of fans now. we are just too obsessed and need to realize they are just 3 NORMAL boys trying to get along in the spotlight. us fans need to show them we can be their friends again and not just their fans, that we can chill and appreciate the music and them for who they are. that they are safe around us. maybe then they could actually have more fans that are their friends. i need to take my own advice too.

It's called growing up. I love them when they were young and starting out. Loved their enthusiasm and fun. Love their music! Love their differnt looks. Love their sweetness and family values.
Now they have more business to consider and juggle, and they still try to reach out to us often, and they still do lots and lots of public appearances so we can see them and respect the choices they make. I love them now, and I hope I will always love and respect them for their talent and awesome goodness.
As for how they look, gosh Joe was absolutely stunning in the old days with his johawk, and he is just as gorgeous today. I LOVE YOUR HAIR JOE!!!!! In the skating performances and the Disneyland and those German Viva videos, he's looking soooo hot. I LOVE YOUR SMILE JOE! Your voice makes me swoon.
