Apparently, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart took their Twilight roles VERY seriously. Kristen told EW, 'We were like, 'We're going to play this real' and the studio was like, 'But it's fun.
Lighten up!' You knew what you were getting when you hired actors who aren't Disney kids! We're actually going to consider the characters, and not just smile on our marks, and hope we're in focus.'
Kristen was uncompromising about what she'd allow her character to do and say. The film's screenwriter revealed, 'We had to rewrite and improvise a lot of the most intense scenes, because Kristen will not say something if she doesn't feel good about it. 'Kristen is very tough and she does not tolerate bulls---.'

It is a bit pretencious of her to generalize disney stars. You may argue that Disney stars receive fame and attention mainly because of being that, Disney stars. However, some of them are truly talented and just because they work for Disney does not mean that they do not take their jobs seriously.

Hardly any twilight characters are really well known and this must be mind blowing for them all, especially poor robert, i was at Live @ Much and was blown away at the fan base of screaming girls.

Well, not ALL acting has to be realistic.
I mean, the acting that Disney Channel uses is a humorous type of acting. And shows like Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place and The Suite Life HAVE had their funny moments, but they HAVE been crappy too. And Camp Rock was not that bad, but it could've been better. The music was great, and it was a well put together storyline, but Demi Lovato smiled too much in it. I thought the Jonas Brothers did good in it actually, considering it was the first major acting that they had ever done before. You have to actually pay close attention to the acting in the movie. Thats the only way you can tell if a persons acting well. Is by comparing their character to themselves in real life. And all of you saying that Miley is a bad actor, well you should compare herself to the character she plays in the show. She smiles a lot in the show, and in real life, she is more serious.
Disney Channel is meant to be entertaining, and its acting is rarely meant to be serious, but its more meant to be comedic.

THANK YOU. And things like re-writing the script because Kristen won't say the lines, is why this movie is going to be horrible compared to the book. She seems way to into herself... She's not even that great. And just because somebody on Disney, doesn't mean they're not a better actress OR a better person in general.
this is just me but when i pictured both edward and bella i didnt really picture them so stern and serious like i guess for bella i pictured someone that was more insecure and edward idek its not possible =p

As somebody who's been acting for over 10 years, I find that remark extremely ignorant. Being on Disney doesn't mean you don't consider your characters. I've been in several Disney shows, and they're some of the toughest parts to play. They're the shows that you really DO need to create a strong character for; you can't be inconsistant. People don't recognize that enough, and obviously Kristen Stewart is EXTREMELY closed minded and inexperienced as an actress.
