im pretty sure demi was going to have an album whether or not jb helped her or not. if she is signed onto disney, they were going to run with it either way. all selena did was say 'listen to my friend sing.' she sung and blew them away. that same scenario could have played out with or without selena but we won't know that. demi's talent has a lot to do with where she is, not just the people in her life.

lol woooooooow. grow up. i mean come onnnnnn. no one used to know who miley was either! demi is just starting out, she has a new show coming out now, and for her first cd she did pretty well. her next cd she'll probly come close or even beat mileys. miley & demi have 2 completely different styles. miley sold so many because she still had that little kid fan base& some teens also. demis music is more teen not little kids. theyre both talented be happy for them both?!
i love demi; becuase she's having the same issues as me, and millions of other teenagers and she's not afraid to say that she IS self concious, and has problems worring about things like her apperence. obviously everyone feels the same way, but she's not afraid to admit it
