Former Disney Queen Britney Spears posed topless in very similar, slightly less revealing to that of reigning Disney Queen Miley Cyrus. Britney posed provocatively in 1998 at the age of 16 while Miley was just 15 when the controversial shots were snapped in 2008. Who did it BEST?

1.first of all, it wasn't the first incident.. she had a lot of picture leaks leading up to it which already had people on edge about her.
2. Second of all, it wasn't as much about the fact of her showing her skin, as it was the fact of her being WRAPPED IN A BED SHEET. When you do a photoshoot looking like that, wrapped in a bed sheet, they are sending the image that she is doing things like HAVING SEX. If it were say, a photo shoot of her in a bikini in the ocean people would not have freaked out so much because that's sending a different message! And on top of that she's with disney, and she's the "tween queen" with the BIGGEST part of her audience aim being from around 5-13. So I would think by now you would understand why it upset people.
Mily's is a better picture. It is artistic, posed and lit. Britney's is just her sitting there and she had dumb hair.

Well the thing is Britney looks cute and innocent in the shoot, while Miley is trying to look sexy by squinting her eyes and pouting and giving the "I'm a dirty girl" look she loves so much.
