i'm sick of all the stupid people who record albums just cause they're on TV.

the problem is, he very well may be a really good singer, but at this point disney handing out record deals is just becomming a joke. its sad, because then real talent slips through the cracks, but thats just how it is. i mean isn't his little friend coming out with an album to; umm roshon i think. yea, no.

See, that's the thing. Disney gives out record deals just like that. Disney owns Hollywood Records; therefore if you're with Disney, you pretty much automatically get a record deal if you want one. In my opinion, it's not so much for mainstream reasons--if you're an actor/actress on Disney, and want to break out completely mainstream, don't go through Hollywood Records. Disney's just for the kids. But basically, if you want an automatic record deal, be on Disney.

But yeah I get what your all saying about people just getting record deals. The only ones who should really have them are the Jonas Brothers (because they STARTED out as singers and were signed before Disney, proving that they do deserve it), Miley Cyrus (becuase she auditioned for the part of Hannah Montana, aka a SINGING role, and she got it. so props to her), and maybe Demi Lovato (because she got the part in Camp Rock, which was a singing role.)
but the rest, like Selena, Alyson Stoner, Vanessa Hudgens, etc etc etc. shouldn't really have them. stick to acting, my friends.

contracts should be given out according to who has a good voice... but that doesnt matter to disney, they just want to get the money out of each and every little kid they have- thats why they all act, sing, tour
