Seriously you act like you know this girl, you act like you know everything in this world. Miley made thoose mistakes back in 2007, she apologaized for the pictures and the vanity fair. Dating someone she likes, does not make her stupid. And people that KNOW her as said that she is smart and professional. You guys are afraid of a girl that wont be a toy to guys, aren't you? how can we take you seriously, when you look at this from a point of view of someone that hate her?? You obviously belives everything you read about Miley. One of the things people always have said as a good quality Miley have is here profesionality. The last year, Miley have really not made any mistakes. Because there is really just the old pictures that have been hacked and leaked. And she have never taken back here apology for here mistakes. she knew what she did was wrong and she have learned.

Miley is my role model not because of the few mistakes she have done. But because she is not afraid of beeing the girl she is, saying what she mean. And not caring what haters like you and Perez mean about her. And she does alot of good things, how many of the other stars sacrified their new years eve to put focus on Breast cancer?? If you have followed Miley even a bit, you would have seen that she get embaresed when someone say good things about her. that's not how a concited girl act. She is maybe a bit self centered, but everyone in the world is a bit self centered. just look at you, you think you know everything about this girl without even knowing her, that makes you full of your self, and extremely self centered.

This opinion is based on the fact that I have followed her EVERY SINGLE MOVEMENT since she rose to high relevance, simply because I wanted to see how the behavior of the most important child star impacted that of the people she had an influence on (like a social studies project, I guess). This opinion is not based on Oceanup posts, or gossip magazines, is based strictly on the source (Miley, her interviews, public appearances and concerts) and her fans at active fan forums. The fact that she is open and sincere, at let's say the Miley and Mandy Show, makes it easier.
You look at her as an idol, land a mental image of it, and you might filter everything else - keeping only the image that YOU want to keep of her. About the Vanity Fair Scandal?
She really liked the pictures at first, then when the media made a scandal about it DISNEY made a statement claiming she was manipulated (she never used those words in future interviews). Then she was logically FORCED to back up the company statements, which she did for a while. She was never truly honest about such apology: When the scandal passed she started claiming in interviews that she had "grown up" from the experience, and won't be as naive next time. Yet she repeatedly stated that she believed the subject was blown out of proportion, even implying that the society was just uptight. Recently she said that she was SO inspired by the Vanity Fair photo shoot that she wanted to study photography in England. SUM IT UP! Obviously she has always believed that the scandal was blown way out of proportion and there was nothing wrong with the pictures -If Disney hadn't released a statement she would have NEVER changed her original position. That was the same stubborn opinion she maintained at first about the picture leaks -that there was nothing wrong with them, that she is bound to grow up and make mistakes, and just "be herself" - Respectable, except her behavior IS bound for severe mistakes, which then translate to the millions of girls that love her. Being unapologetic is EXTREMELY IRRESPONSIBLE, especially when she "moves on" from taking controversial pictures to dating a controversial much older man handpicked by her own father. This girl is controlled by her feelings, that might come as admirable but you're not seeing the whole picture.

She did had a thing with Lucas Till, if you didn't know you weren't following her close enough (pictures and statements from extras back that up, even more than they back up Demi being a bully at school). It has been less than a year since her pictures were leaked (Thomas Sturges and the green bra pictures, those were NOT on 2007), and she was forced to stop uploading them (All of which she DID upload to MySpace, as those were private pictures only to be kept to her most inner circle and the only ones she most likely didn't upload were the Thomas Sturges ones) only AFTER she had to take on legal action against her email hacker (The last leak).

And why do you try to change the subject? It doesn't matter if I worship Selena Gomez or viciously dislike her, that's an argument fallacy that has nothing to do with the subject at hand.
I am not afraid of a girl's autonomy. In fact, I appreciate it. I cannot deal with a woman who considers herself to be a shadow of a better man, that ideology is over a century old. Taylor Swift, Joanna Levesque , Emma Watson, Angelina Jolie - None of them are submissive. Submissiveness and Success don't go hand in hand.
Yet that has to be done responsibly, and that confidence cannot be used to erase her mistakes or her actions in front of the entire world.

You all claim you admire her yet you DON'T recognize that she isn't willing to see beyond her mistakes to act as a better person, represent her faith or be a rolemodel to children. You don't see that that attitude might make her crash in Hollywood, just like Lindsay or Paris. And I don't think Western Society needs another awful example of how fame and influence crushes people, specially considering that Cyrus is, unlike any other starlet before her, a star to millions of children worldwide.

You WILL move on from her, one day you will be disenchanted of the Disney media machine. And then you will find out that she wasn't everything you claimed her to be. She is as flawed as it gets. And her criticism has some bases.
