They are just friends. Nick looks relaxed and comfortable with her because he has known her for so long which is nice to see cause sometimes he looks anal in public. This could be a photo-op too. Watch the interview of Miley on the view, and Nick in interviews. He doesn't get as nervous when they ask about anyone other than Miley, plus he's said multiple times that what they have "is something that will always be there."

Anyway, I predict her & famewhore....i mean Justin, will break up by '10 and her & Nick will get back together sometime in '10 or possibly it'll all happen sooner, like this summer.
