We've only seen taylor with miley at press events as well. The Jonas Brothers premier afterparty was NOT a press event, it was a PRIVATE PARTY.

And no one even SAW them hang out the Golden Globes. They had an awkward run-in on the red carpet and many sources said they spoke inside which is how Nick and Miley were officially able to clear the air. It is not a media thing.
