He is not. LOL He just looks and acts very young for his age. And according to him, he acts very 'spacey' sometimes which can explain why sometimes he looks a little confused on the red carpet lol. His voice is mad deep though, his voice is incredible.

Such stupid comments in this thread. Not only is David smart and the sweetest guy anybody could hope to meet, but he actually does not act young for his age. He acts normal. He's a little spacey sometimes, but that's not abnormal-a lot of people are. Demi has said she can't wait to tour with him because he's such a cool, genuine and talented guy. He *looks* a little young but that's not his fault. He takes after his mom who looks really young for her age. But he's a very smart guy, more mature than a lot of the young people in Hollywood.

He's also really cute in person. Trust me on that. Anybody who ever has the chance to meet him grows to really like him-he's just that humble, sweet and cool.

he is painfully shy before american idol. He's getting better now. Much much better but sometimes still shy. That's him. And he is smart actually, he scored 4.0 gpa in his studies.He is totally in a different level when he sings. That's what is so fascinating about him.

David was a 4.0 student in high school until he started traveling so much for his music career and Idol. He was planning on becoming an ear, nose and throat doctor if music didn't work out. As if! David is incredible live, and is exceedingly charming and endearing. Anyone exposed to him for any length of time just falls in love with him. The lead singer for REO is like David Cook, always draping an arm about him. Plus, he's gorgeous. These pictures may not show it all that well, but there thousands out there that do, trust me.

Awww - that first photo is just a bad photo. Most point and shoot cams have wide angle lenses and if you use them close to people it's like a fun house mirror. Seriously, he is gorgeous. Search Google for archuletaweb photo shoots j-squared or archuletaweb photoshoots matt clayton to see some really good photos. I love David's voice and he is an extremely kind and friendly person. He's a ton of fun too. BTW all - a Fan Pack of songs will be released June 9 including Zero Gravity - I can't wait.
