That's a good question! Although I think that the Jonas Brothers have more older fans then her. I think if she trys to set herself apart from the disney lime light she would do a lot better! She has so much potentail. I really am not liking how Disney uses people. I didn't realize it until recently. The only people I would ever consider being able to have a good career in the future and stick around for a while is Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. I'm hoping Demi will take a more mature road in the future as well. But whatever they all choose as long as their music is still good, people will buy it (hopefully! haha)

Also you can see a lot of older fans here because well..look at where she's at. Last time I checked Bamboozle attracts and OLDER crowd. So good on her, being there and rocking out with some of the best bands out there at the moment.

She's going to go places.

SHE didnt create anything. she wears what she wants to wear and then YOU expect her to be that 24/7. that is YOUR problem, not hers. there is no 'new demi.' she obviously does a lot of press and appropriately should wear a dress. that doesnt mean she is going to wear a dress 24/7. wow. what is the issue.

What you and your deluded mind sees as swapping personalities or whatever, normal people see as dressing appropriately. She dresses like a lady in formal events, and appropriately dresses edgier in concerts. If you can't comprehend that then I think your time would be better spent in school.

You don't get it, It WOULD be okay if she was still doing that. She wore a dress to the Camp Rock Premieres and to the VMAS, etc. And I didn't think she was changing.
But when you see her in the rare paparazzi candids and shit she will be always dress differently and I don't get if she is trying to still be her edgy self or she is trying to be her ~mature self.

But it does effect her character.
I would respect her if she was trying to be cool and go to rock shows and wear leather and stuff, but she is trying to do all that AND be the new Demi who is sophisticated and bohemian. It doesn't make sense to me.

there is no trying to be her edgy self or trying to be a mature self. she is being herself. i really dont get the problem. i would wear the same things she wears depending on what im in the mood for that day. im sorry if you are not a versatile person on a daily basis, but some people are. again, sorry you didnt get the memo.

Clothing reflects your personality.
She said so HERSELF that she was a ~new person, in her blog.
I don't mean literally dresses all the time. But in her v-blog with Selena, her outfit was what I considered normal and cute, for what she was going for at the time.
But then she is trying to be all rocker, and I thought she gave that up last year, when she quit with all the dark makeup, blah blah blah.
Is it really that hard to understand what I'm saying?

saying you are a 'new person' could just as much mean you have a new mentality which is actually what i think she was getting out. she views life a little bit differently mentality. yes with that maybe she is freer to explore other things but that doesnt mean she was going to 'give up' something physically. i never got that vibe from what she said at all.

Who are you trying to be??
I know that I wear a lot of colored skinny jeans and v-necks, that's who I am.
I am funky, blah blah blah.
But if I showed up to school in a sundress with cowboy boots and hat, I would be either laughed at or called a poser.
