I didn't mean to make it come across as if meaningful songs are the only important songs. To me OTL is really relatable, so that's why I like it a lot.
And when it comes to stage presence, if you really love a musician, you're kind of blinded by it and think their stage presence is fantastic. So tbh, I'm gonna say that Demi's presence is good enough for me, and she's still learning so I'm happy.
I'm pretty sure in terms of chemistry and fun, it's equal. Demi is one of the JB's best friends and they seem to have tons of fun together. And so did Miley and JB, I'm not denying that at all.
I agree with you on the one guy thing though, I think it should have just been her and Joe.

Ain't NO WAY "On the Line" is better than "We Got the Party with Us." I love Joe's voice on "OtL" but Demi just resorts to downright screaming on that song; find it very hard to listen to it. I prefer so many of her other songs. As for the JB/Miley duet - they both sound simply awesome on that song and it kicks ass live.

Please we all know that is true that miley and jb were amazing together and fun to watch! Back then the boys look like they were having fun and not working! They look like fun guys having a good time with a their pal miley on stage. i think they even forgot at times that their were tons of people on stage and just had fun!!

i think get confused. i dont really think miley has more stage presence then demi. its the fact that demi stage prescense is different then mileys. demi can't be miley and never will be. so if you are into what miley bring to the stage, good for you. but some people are into what demi brings the stage.

iv seen miley perform and i know what she brings to stage but in my eyes, i don't see 'outshine.' i just see that its different. like i said, with time demi has gotten much more commanding with her stage and lets her passion come through in her singing. i love watching her get so into her songs its almost 'awkward' to watch, but that how i know its a genuine feel. and i adore her for it. miley and demi are different in how they express themselves. do i prefer watching demi over miley? yes, i can see why other people prefer miley. its all a matter of what you are looking for.
