i think its a bit of both. the whole 'dont give a damn anymore' plus appealing to the broader spectrum. they arent little kids anymore. there is no reason for especially two almost grown men to keep acting like girls they have been with for quite some time, dont exist. kudos to them.

probably because joe isn't always the best at speaking in interviews. thats how its always been. its not like they dont let him talk, but joe isn't the most fluent. he does try though, he just stumbles over his words a lot.
Aww - I think Joe sometimes struggles in these formal-type interviews. God bless him - he has a great personality and is so charming but I think he struggles with trying to word things correctly. Kevin and Nick are much more polished in these situations. I think it's sweet how they jump in to "rescue" him sometimes.

It was a very good interview. You learn some new things about the boys like how they were $90,000 in debt after they got dropped from Columbia and that Kevin use to be on a lacrosse team. But yeah the girlfriend thing came out of nowhere. Like I was expecting the usual "We make time for girls but music is whats most important blah blah" But Larry asked Joe if he has a girlfriend, then he kind of hesitated and said yes I do, then Larry asked if she was in the business and he just smiled and blushed. Then he asked if she's as big as his(pointing at Nick) and he was like "I don't think anyone's as big as Miley Cyrus."
