Of course KSM can't even touch Cheap Trick, but it's a listenable jam.

I've never heard of them although their cover of the song is a bit too glam rock/pop for me. but their voices sound stunning together. and they seem very sweet and down to earth along with all the actors! cool people!
Guys, they covered "I Want You To Want Me" because in the movie 10 Things I Hate About You the band Letters to Cleo covered the same song, and it was a pretty big part of the movie. Letters to Cleo even played the movie out to credits by singing the song on the roof of the school used in the film. So the TV show picks up on a song used a lot in the movie, and re-records it for their theme song. It makes a lot of sense.
Letters to Cleo, by the way, has a female lead singer, hence the female band covering the song rather than a male band (Cheap Trick, of course, is male).
Some of you act as if nobody has ever covered another artist's song before. It happens all the time.
I don't "Hate" anyone. I just think this version sucks.
