Natalie Portman was already established as an award winning actress when she decided to go to college. I'm sorry but Selena should stick to acting until she breaks before she goes off the radar because she will be forgotten.

I think you are right about that.
First of all, the New York Post is notorious for making shit up! Second, there is no way in hell that disney is going to turn Wizards into a franchise and then have it end the first season after announcing that fact. There will most definitely be 4 seasons and probably 100 total episodes with maybe another movie or two. If Hannah Montana got 4 seasons, then Wizards will too. Just b/c Selena will turn 18 doesn't mean she NEEDS to go to college IMMEDIATELY!!!!! She could easily do a 4th or 5th season of Wizards and take her first 2 years after high school off. I absolutely LOVE that she is going to go to college, but it has to be the right time at the right place!!!!!

This is inncorrect Shia did alot of movies inbetween including Charlie's Angels, I,Robot, Constantine, And The Battle of Shaker Heights. Shia was smart and took roles in big films so he could gain recognition. Selena would have to do something rad like The Battle of Shaker Heights in order to get some recognition. Yeah. Nick is constantly talking about how he wants to go to Northwestern. haha Imagine the irony of Nick and Selena both ending up at Northwestern a few years into the future.
Anyways, I really like Selena. I think she has her head on straight and her priorities in order. I really see her being the one out of this whole new disney brat pack group to end up with a legitimate acting career. I don't think music is really going to work for her but I see her growing up and really being able to pull a Shia. I really think she has a future in this whole acting thing. And I think she'll be able to succeed with class and without a whole lot of uneccessary scandal or anything. I think she'll be able to grow up and into a good actress without falling into to many of the pitfalls alot of child stars do.

regular kids like us have school years where we have breaks for summer in between each year. home schooled kids can study at their own pace. if they get motivated enough, they can complete all the work and graduate early. demi talked about how she completed one of her algebra classes in one month while she was filming camp rock. it takes us an entire year to earn the credits to complete a class. lame i know, but they're missing out on some of the fun stuff about regular school...like football games, homecoming, and prom.

Hell, I could probably be profitable too if disney "made me" famous. Wizards will have 100 episodes b/c shows like That's So Raven and Kim Possible already have, and now with Hannah w/ a 4th season. And don't play this off as test marketing merchandise. Is that what they've been doing with Hannah the last few years? Bull shit! My brother got into that school and he was among the top 12 people in his graduating class and his ACT's were over 30, like a 32.
