Actually,the Cyruses wear necklaces and chains with crucifix pendants on them, not rosaries. It IS considered disrespectful in Christianity to wear the rosary as a necklace.

Taylor is just like a mini-Courtney Love. The huge amount of smuged eyeliner,the ugly dress,the face that shows signs of years of hard partying, and the marginal amount of talent.

If you're religious and intend to use it as a devotion, then it is acceptable to wear the rosary around the neck. She attended a Catholic school, so she may not just being wearing it for "fashionable" reasons.

None of this stops her look from being trashy though...
