Jonas Brothers fan Molly collapsed on the ground while meeting Joe in Canada, where he is filming Camp Rock 2 on the French River and staying at a Sudbury hotel. The CR2 crew has been spotted at the south-end Dairy Queen, racing at the city’s go-cart track and buying fruit at a grocery store.
Shauna told The Sault Star: ‘We met Joe and Demi Lovato on Thursday. They walked down that hill over there.. and we got Joe’s autograph.’ Molly added:‘I was bawling my eyes out. He (Joe) asked me why I was crying and I didn’t really answer him.. I was falling on the ground.’
Joe hugged Molly, but Shauna did not get one, because she was ‘so star-struck.’
Their friends Alicia wants to sneak into the hotel to meet them: ‘I’m going to try to walk in there and if I see Joe I’m probably going to throw a penny at him.‘ They are filming scenes of Camp Rock 2 at French River Provincial Park, about 40 minutes south of Sudbury.
Access to French River Provincial Park was blocked by a private security firm Friday for filming. Tourists are extremely upset, while rented, the park is considered private property and members to the public could be charged with trespassing if they venture onto the property.
Argentinean tourists Sonia V said: ‘Who are they? I can’t believe it. We come from Argentina and we are going to miss this park because they are filming a movie? We don’t have the opportunity to see this park again. Do they really need the whole park to film their movie?’
