If I took a trip to Africa to help less fortunate people, I would most definitely share pictures with my family and friends. What she's doing is absolutely fantastic, and it's probably something she'll remember for the rest of her life. If I had an incredible experience like that, I would want to share it with others and let them see how doing so little can mean so much. I know I enjoyed the pictures, and I love seeing pictures of celebs helping the less fortunate. To see those children smiling, laughing, and having fun makes me feel so happy. She's helping these people and putting smiles on their faces, that's what's important. Learn to appreciate.

I'm involved in Relay for Life, Jump Rope For Heart, March or Dimes, and even help start a foundation for stopping thee Genocide in Darfur at my school, but I wish I could do something amazing like actually GO there and meet people. =/

How can you come in here and say something bad about someone doing charity? The fact that this is being done is what's important. How would you know what's in Selena's mind? How would you know her intentions? I hate how everyone on Oceanup thinks they know these celebrities so well, like they're their best friends, and that they know their intentions. Get a life.

You...do realize that the whole POINT of recruiting celebs for this kind of work is because of their star power, right? Groups like these utilize known people to draw attention to their causes. She announced she was going to Africa, she never even mentioned she was going to do charity work until she shared some of the pictures she had taken and that were taken of her with her FANS on her personal twitter.

Yes that's Miley's own charity so she can contribute to it however way she likes. But selena has been elected by a charity far greater, which does extensive projects. And its not her own charaty so in order to raise awareness to the whole aspect and to catalyse people to actually contribute she has to post pictures thus so she can generate a productive response from her fans.

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. When Miley created PappyCyrus, not only did she take pictures, she got the whole story published in a bunch of magazines AND talked about it on tv. Selena's NOT doing that. Selena took HER OWN camera and is taking pictures of her experience and putting them on her PERSONAL twitter page. She's not publishing them in magazines or talking about it on TV, like Miley and Hilary do EVERY TIME they support a cause. So let's not make Miley look like the saint she ISN'T.
