One of my mom's close friends wrote a book on her son having cancer. I believe it's called "A lesson with pain." or sonething like that. But basically my mom's friend was the worlds biggest drunk/slut/coke addict/ and just over all a horrible person. She couldn't maintain a stable relationship with anyone and once through a one night stand she got pregnant. She had her kid, and she finally changed you know? But then the kid developed cancer, so she struggled and like finally realized that she had wasted her life and that her poor son was now suffering, and she said that god had sent her this suffering angel to show her that life should be cherished because not many get to fulfill it. Her son unfortunately passed away, he was a beautiful boy too, i knew him, and it was so heart warming and just crazy. It hurts to see someone so sick, but like she said some are angels sent to better a person.

i love that she did this. while i DON'T think it was for publicity, it still doesn't matter either way. whatever the motive behind it, that little girl got to have a dream of a life time come true by being called up on that stage. while some people may feel that it is no big deal to meet miley because u don't like her, it was obvious by the look on that little girls face that she was inspired and felt loved my miley truely in that moment. this song is all about trying your hardest to pull thru anything life throws at u. there is nothing harder than a little girl who is fighting thru cancer. so whatever the motive, the thought and connection was still there. i still feel that miley was very sincere. she has proven on more than one occurrence how real she is, and the smile on her face when she put the mic to that girls mouth wasn't fake.

alright then, i respect that. but what I don't get is the lovers of selena/demi or whatever. when people hate on them like this, nobody would say this to them. they would keep arguing. so maybe you should start saying this to everyone else too.

I think it was sincere. She held that little girls hand and focused on singing the song TO the little girl the entire time, rather than trying to put on a show for the audience. Very sweet.

I get what you're saying, and most people on here probably don't even hate Miley their just bored, and they for sure would never say this stuff to her face.

I wish people would look at the positive things that Miley's doing rather than her performing outfits and mistakes she has made.
Her performing outfits don't make her a whore, slut, skank, etc. People on this site throwing those demeaning words around look ignorant.
Sure some of her performing outfits on tour might be a tad bit inappropriate especially considering she has young children there but she's not harming anyone. I'm pretty sure these young children are just in awe of seeing Miley and aren't old enough to comprehend everything that's occurring. If their parents think her dancing and outfits will taint their child's innocence, then they can take their kids and leave. It's as simple as that. If their parents are doing a good job parenting them, they should turn out fine. It's not Miley's job to raise young children.
She's liable to make mistakes and she never claimed to be perfect. I'm glad that she doesn't live her life according to other people's standards, then she wouldn't be herself.
It's debatable on whether or not you view her as a good role model. But, I personally don't look up to celebrities because I don't know them personally. In some ways, I admire Miley for keeping her head held up high throughout everything that she has been through. And I like the fact that she makes mistakes and isn't afraid to admit them.
You may not like Miley's appearance, clothing choices, singing, dancing, acting, etc but that doesn't give you the right to go on gossip sites and throw demeaning words her way.
What has she ever done to you? Hell, she probably hasn't even met you. I'd like to know what she's done to deserve all of this hate. Sure it comes along with the fame package, but it still doesn't make what you're saying right.
I'm really proud of Miley, Demi, Jesse, and JB for raising awareness of cancer, donating money to the charity, and bringing hope to these sick kids.
