Im a varsity cheerleader & a fucking virgin.There is more to cheerleading than the uniforms and cute little cheers.We put in 3 hours of practice Monday night through Thursday night,compete on Saturdays/Sundays,or fund raise.To make varsity you have to have a round off backhand sping,tuck which for most girls takes years to perfect.Stop being so ignorant.

You know, that's just sad that most people think this way. I'm not a cheerleader, but one of my friends are. She is the most down-to-earth girl and is nice to everyone. Dont judge from what you see in movies because not all cheerleaders are like that. Some are, yes. But most cheerleaders are smart and know it's wrong to sleep around. So dont judge every cheerleader before you know all of them.

It depends on your school.
Mine just happens to be football since our football teams are one of the best, but its not made into a big deal like the American schools. Pretty much, your school's best team is the one that gets the most attention in Canada.
And we don't have cheer teams either, and if there are, they're called "Spirit Squads", but none of the Spirit Squads are really like Degrassi's :P Well maybe some schools have cheerleading but most don't and if they do its nothing major either.

Just because football is the main sport where you live doesn't mean that its the same for the whole country! Where I live football and hockey are main BOTH sports. ( They are at 2 different seasons) You can take classes on football and hockey. We also have cheer leading.
