Winona, 'Taylor Swift Too Much Too Soon'
Taylor Swift is the youngest artist to EVER win the Country Music Association Awards’ Entertainer Of The Year prize at CMAs. However, country legend Wynonna Judd claimed that Taylor is too young to be the winner:
'You want my honest comment? It’s too much too soon. Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing too soon. My thing is, being a home-school mom, I want kids to earn it, and I think some time ..’cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations.

Meaning that when its Noon in LA on Saturday the 14 its gonna be 11PM on the 14 nearly the 15 in Belgium. Then JB has the 15 and 16 OFF. Those are their days off. They then have a concert on the 17 in Birmingham., Isn't that in ALABAMA? Anyways. I was just wondering on WHY Demi decided to make her Birthday Party on THIS particular weekend? Could it be that maybe Joe will have a chance in going?

EXACTLY! ive been a country fan since literally the day i was born. and i love taylors music, and i completely understand the album of the year award. shes a great songwriter and she sold A LOT of albums. but female vocalist? no way. she friggen beat martina mcbride! shes not THAT good of a singer at all. and i think she won entertainer of the year because shes had to most going on this year out of everyone else nominated, but i really dont think she deserved that one. that is a HUGE award in country music, and for her to win it so early in her carreer, i think thats a bit ridiculous. it should have gone to someone else, but whatever.

It's not an award for who is most talented. It's entertainer of the YEAR!!!! Taylor was awesome this year whether you like her voice or her music. She entertained crowds, she has a new style of country music that appeals to many ages. I love the other country stars that were nominated with her but they've had their fair share of wins. They've entertained in the past and will continue to do so. She has just captured a greater audience and has therefore done a better job this year. Age has nothing to do with it.

Taylor deserved to win Album of the Year & Female Vocalist but Entertainer of the Year is like the big one, the one everyone strives for & works for & wants... and she gets it at 19... so, what does she want to strive for now? She already had a #1 album for 11 weeks. I think Brad Paisley should have won Entertainer of the Year. Him or Keith Urban deserved it more.

Why should it REALLY matter how old she is? She's not letting it go to her head and its not making her go crazy, its just making her want to do what she loves even more. and whats wrong with that? People should be happy for her, she's worked hard to get where she is. Winona makes it sound like she got her fame easily.. well I don't think thats the case at all. I'd say an easy way to get fame is by going on a reality tv show because you're exposed to the public every week. I'm not saying its easy to STAY famous from that, but fame is still fame, no matter how long it lives. She's worked hard.. I totally agree with WYNONA. Where does she go from here? The only place to go is down. That is the highest honor in Country Music. It’s kind of a slap in the face of all of the country stars who worked their asses off for YEARS to get the success they have. I think she’s a good entertainer but they should not have given this to her so early in her career, give it to her when she’s been doing this for 5-10 years, If she’s even still around.

EOTY was definitely Taylor's album and even song. These are simply shown in sales ie: concerts, albums and radio play. Taylor has done a lot for country music in the short time she has been around. The average age of country music listeners has broadened greatly thanks to Taylor Swift. I agree that Vocalist should have gone to any of the other nominees but That is not how the voting went.

She's an awful singer, her voice is very weak and her range is so small. a music career shouldn't be about getting an award after another. Awards are meant to recognize your hard work, but if she is serious about her music and her career, where does she go from here? she goes on making beautiful and inspiring music. You don't just stop after getting an award. Maybe that's why Winona stopped making music because she wasn't in it for the right reasons. And maybe that's also why she is not as successful. Entertainer of the Year is given to people who entertain audiences across the world, write great music, have great shows, sell lots and lots of albums, go all out on performances, etc. Taylor has done all that, I don't care how young she is.
