He changed the line ONCE in a performance at a retort for something Taylor did.
He added the 'wah wah wah' after Taylor said that on SNL.
He's told the interviewers numerous times he doesn't want to talk about it.
He's tried to not bring it up and says that she's really great.
He's trying to be a gentleman, not a bitter bitch.

Not because I like him more, but I don't see Joe at fault.
