I know because I'm diabetic. It's a little more discreet for girls because they always carry a purse and I can put all my supplies in one bag and drop it into my purse undetected.
Nick's choice would be to carry a pouch around his waist (I've seen many diabetics do that) or in some type of bag. I personally think his leather satchel is stylish.
