Selena, 'Touring With Demi Would Be Fun'
Selena Gomez new TV GUIDE interview. On her volunteerism: Radio Disney is having this contest called 'Give Back.' The winner will fly to California and with me, go to the UNICEF office and donate $5,000. Being blessed to have a voice and using it for causes that are important to me and educate kids my age about everything going on outside of either our country or even the next state over, I'm honestly the luckiest girl in the whole world.
Wizards of Waverly Place details: We are on Season 3 right now, so we have a lot more magic. My character, Alex, has a lot of growing to do and she falls in love for the first time. [Sel's love interest is played by British actor Gregg Sulkin, who stars in Disney Channel UK's As the Bell Rings.]
Harder to maintain privacy now? Just a little bit, but I think that I can speak for my cast as well, that we obviously haven't forgotten that they're the reason why we're here, so we would never once complain about that.
How is your band going? It's going really well. It's my debut album and we're able to tour it on the weekends. My fans from the show are being really supportive of my music. Demi performed really good this past summer tour. She's great. I went to Miley's tour two weeks ago and it was fun and had a lot of cool effects but nothing beats the raw and personal feeling you get in a concert with less effects and more music like Demi had.
You can't say " I miss the old Demi" unless you have met her in person.

I find Selena fake because I think the only reasons he started clicking with taylor so much was do to her separation from the Jonas Groupies club. Yes she and taylor had been friends since last year but it seems like their friendship is influenced by whoever they're dating or not dating at the time.
Selena and Demi were never THAT close in texas. They got closer when they were in LA and a lot of that was fueled by the fact that they did so many projects together. But their friendship was very much forced by disney and now that they don't have to force it as much, they're not as close. It also doesn't help that Selena doesn't get along with all of Demi's closest friends(Miley, JB, Jac, Selena and marissa haven't always gotten along).
I love the Memi friendship because there's more natural progression there. No force by disney, but two people who were able to settle their distances and find common ground. really it was stupid for Demi to be in the middle of the feud, she was really an accessory to what was really going on between Miley, Nick and Selena. And it was great that she and Miley were about to put that aside and realize how alike they are and become so close. Demi said they talk every day.
Taylor and Miley have been friends for 3 years and I always loved how fierce they are when they're together but I feel like Selena's attachment to taylor has caused friction in that friendship since Selena and Miley don't get along.
