Nick and Miley's friendship is one of the only Disney friendships that seems completely legit to me. There of course is planned drama and last year when they reconnected, I bet Disney started that. But when they are together friends or what not, I do think they are friends. She has been saying he's one of her best friends for years and years and no one else has really lasted that long. And when you grow so much together as they did when they were on tour and whatnot together. You can't break that bond. That's why their friendship seems so genuine to me. I know what it's like to have friends like that and no matter what drama happens you are friends. Thick and thin.

People who are Niley fans don't necessary think that Niley has to be romantically involved. As a fan of them, I like just hearing news of them being best friends. They're 17 years old. I don't think they are going to be in love and together forever. But I do think they are best friends so it does make me smile when I read that they are acknowledging that. Which both have been lately.
