Glee is basically a musical (which i LOVE) whereas Skins deals with Sex, Drugs, Drinking, Personality disorders, Divorce & all sorts. Watch an episode of Skins & you'll figure out how completley opposite it is to Glee. It really couldnt be less of a drama version of Glee if you tried.

Skins was around first so if you even had any idea of what you were actually talking about, Glee would be a rip off of Skins, right? And also, I love Glee, but Skins owns. First season was by far the best though, because of Joe Dempsie - Chris was obviously the best character

skins is NOTHING like Glee. Skins is literally just sex and drugs and masturbation. Glee is alot more child-friendly whereas i wouldn't reccomend anyone under 14 watch skins.
I've seen the show and personally think it's disgusting. It seems like they're trying too hard to be "gritty". None of the scenes seem natural and they don't flow together very well. The acting is sub-par as well. I don't mean to insult the people who like this show in any way, just my opinion. Also, it's rather odd how so many people are replying to one comment about someone who wasn't sure what this show was about. He/She didn't know, let it go already..

Sorry to say this but Skins and Glee are two VERY different TV Shows!! And besides Skins' first season was aired in 2007. And the characters are very different too. You can't even find any kind of similarities between the two shows. I don't mean to sound rude, just saying.
It's an English tv show! I think you should check it out!
