well Nick and Courtney were together... (hoooking up/a fling) whatever you wanna call it.. it was kind of obvious... so in my opinion stay is about courtney because nick was falling for her but she left him for her ex boyfriend...
I love "Stay" and can't help but laugh at OU lame attempt at starting controversy. If you really wanted to start the gossip reel turning you could mention how Sel tweeted a while back that "Stay" by Safetysuit was her fav song and Nick only recently wrote the song, after catching up with Sel, or how Miles was in a different country with her boyfriend. The term stay can apply to both.
And something that may startle OU...Nick might actually have SOMEONE else that isn't in the spotlight. It's possible y'know.
