Rising music stars Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are beating the Jonas Brothers in tickets sales for the concerts at the Houston Rodeo. Tickets sales are up 25% compared to 2009's first-day numbers. Houston Rodeo's CEO said: 'It's looking fantastic. It's tremendous.' The March 21 Selena Gomez/ Justin Bieber finale show, only has scattered singles remaining.
'In our surveys as we're talking to people buying tickets, the Gomez side of that is by far the stronger seller. That Disney show is hugely popular, and she has a Hispanic last name, which is great in Houston.' Just behind are the Jonas Brothers (March 7), who are making their second appearance. Less than 3,000 tickets remain before that show hits the scattered-singles mark.

Like how a lot of people who are Hispanic like Selena and look up to her because of her background and how she's like them but making it in the US so she's in an inspiration to them and they want to buy her tickets and they live there so it's good for the sales.
It's like how i'm from Atlanta so everyone her is like 'oh were so cool cuz of pants on the ground' haha
