Deb, 'Music With Haters Is Worth Keeping'
Debby Ryan Myspace blog: Have you ever met someone who wanted so badly to be like someone else? If it's not organic to them, it doesn't work. Maybe you've seen someone who tries really hard to be different. They don't listen to who they actually are; they just want to be different.
Conforming to nonconformity is equal conformity; don't mess with any of it. Music is the same way. Artists that TRY to be mainstream are called 'rip-offs'. Artists that TRY super hard to be different are 'posers'. No matter how eccentric or nonsensical or mainstream a piece of music is, there's always going to be someone who likes it and someone who hates it.
All we can do is genuinely create an audible manifestation of our souls. Know yourself, know the music in your soul and then put it together out loud, lyrics, instruments, tempo, in the combination that feels like it matches it most honestly. That's my definition of good music.

By definition you CAN'T assimilate to the refusal to conform, that would be an independent thought or action and thus you are unable to conform because of the independent initiative. Agreed! She's trying waaaaay too hard to like, stand out or something? Why do I have a feeling this girl is lecturing us?
Does anyone else think that she really should have began the blog entry with "Dearest Diary" and ended with "love the uber-perfect Debbs". Maybe then it wouldn't seem so stupid; I'd just think someone hacked her diary or something. And yeah she defineately was trying to sound smart(emphasis on trying). I completely agree with her. You all don't know her personally. She's a genuine person, and she won't care about any of your comments anyway. There will be people who love and hate. She accepts, and apparently many people on this page don't.

I mean, I love Selena and all, & I also love her song I won't apologize, but to be honest, some ppl can sing it better than her, cuz they're genuinely good. Miley, no comment, her dad's a singer so it's pretty obvious that's what she's gonna be; Demi, I thought she can really sing but after listening to her live, I kinda changed my mind a bit; Selena, nothing else to say, singing is not for her; Emily, I know she can sing but it's hard to compare her with Jordan Pruitt or Pixie, there's a huge different between their vocals; Mitchel Musso or something, I don't even know why, I thought guys wouldn't do those kinds of stuff to get attention. All in all, I just wanna say that Disney stars can sing, but they can never be truly amazing singers / artists.
I forgot to say, & plz don't feel offended by this but I hate Debby already, god plz don't make me hate her even more!!! Here's a piece of advice for you: stick to your acting classes & stay away from the studio Debby!!! Plz!!!!
