From Helaina: Today me and my friends drove for 6 hours to meet Selena Gomez in Madrid 
It was amazing and she is insanely pretty. I waited in line for about 2 hours and I only got about 20 seconds with her because her bodyguards kept pushing everyone. Still it was great Mer & Lorena for pix! Vid under.
From Sofia: Selena in Madrid in Flagship store in Telefonica. She didn't know how to say 'paella', but I helped her say it. She's so adorable. I asked her 'Now that you have made name for yourself and you can't go out without someone recoignizing you, what do you miss the most of being a everyday person? She said, 'I hang out with my friends, but I miss going out like a normal person.'' More pictures HERE & HERE.

i know a lot of you aren't gunna agree with me on this, but this is just my opinion.. I really think ALOT of selena fans are just people who don't like miley, or thats how it was for a while.. if you think about it MIley and the High school musicial kids started what is now this "new disney channel" I think after miley made the parody video of selena and the whole nick drama happened a lot of people lost respect for miley.. this was all when the vanity fair scandal happened...back in mid 2008, miley layed low for like 3 or 4 or months and left to shoot the hannah montana movie.. so i think once hannah montana third season came out people regained their respect for her.. but selena owes miley ALOT for this empire shes made.. remember Jonas, Demi, Selena, CR was all atleast a year and a half after hannah montana, and selena was on mileys show for a little bit..

For your info Selena started out the exact same time as Miley! It was Demi and the Jonas Brothers that came later on. Miley just happened to get lucky with Hannah Montana all done and ready for her 2 get started on straight away,(and i know that because Disney was out looking for the Hannah Montana role for like a whole YEAR) you would know that if you were an actual Miley fan but anyways while Wizards was only still being written for Selena and so meanwhile thats the reason Disney put Selena on the Suite Life of Zac and Cody and then later Hannah Montana because her show wasnt ready to debut her and so Disney had to find other shows for her to be launched on before an offical launch on her very own show. So dont you go giving Miley all the credit. If it werent for Selena, the Jonas Brothers and Demi comin along onto Disney Miley wouldnt of got this huge status that she is getting today!, without the rest of the Disney Family she would be nothing! The Jonas Brothers came along and made it big long before Selena hit the map. They both had guest appearances in 2007 on Hannah Montana. But at that point the Jonas Brothers were on their 2nd album. If you are going back to those small roles Selena did starting in 2003, Nick Jonas was on Broadway by 1999. Selena was really a nobody until about 18 months ago.
