Well, while you may find Demi's songs deep and meaningful, I find them unoriginal and copy-catish. That's your own opinion about Taylor Swift, and I agree her singing doesn't come close to Demi's, but her song writing is very relate-able and well written. You're also comparing very different genres and the people who sing them.

Many of Demi's songs were also not written by her, or co-written. Which is most disney, because the songs have to be friendly with Hollywood records.

They're both talented artists. But you don't have to put one down in order to raise one up.

ummn no. actually the person who said demi is a better singer aint tone deaf. she is copletely right. alot of people have been complaining about taylor's singing lately. her performance at the grammys just proves it.she sounds terrible live like 90% of the time even though her fans just won't admit it. just because taylor isn't with disney like demi doesen't make taylor a better singer at all. maybe some of u need to get your ears checked. like her all you want but she sucks live. the only time she sounds fairly good is when she is in the studio and that's because they edit her voice.

Doesn't Demi do the same? Almost every other song she sings is a break up song/make up song. The difference is Taylor either solely or co-writes ALL her music.(with 1 other writer, unlike others who have 2 or more names attached along with their own, which makes me question whether or not they're even giving any input at all.) Whether you like and/or relate to her music or not, you cannot deny writing talent.
