They just needed people to buy the tickets it was useless to keep that akward relationship going on through tour since everyone got their tickets a few days ago. Nice PR stunt, worked well. These 2 have been dating since filming Camp Rock 2. It became more serious after Christmas. They just made it public cause it served a purpose to do so for press 3 months ago and they didnt want to hide it anymore.
Demi was Joe's rebound girl after Camilla. He was down and lonely and gave Demi a try. He thought it might work but see's they are better friends then girlfriend and boyfriend. Demi is too young for him. I don't think he ever felt about Demi the way Demi felt about him.

I bought the tickets even though I don't like Demi. So not everyone bought them because they were together. This isn't as good as plan A but it's not bad. Now they'll have weeks of they've broken up publicity. And people will watch them to see if there's any awkwardness now. And many will try and guess if every statement means they are ready to become Jemi again. In other words, Demi won't let the publicity from this ever end. It's her ticket.
So he pretended to be all loving boyfriend and payed a Limo ride for Demi, bragged about it on people magazine and broke up with her two days later? Strange.

Bull. If it were for the tour, or to get tickets sales and break up. They would have been all over NY together. Really pumping up the interviews, the pictures.
You haven't seen them on a "date" for sometime before NY.
I think Demi got to clingy and serious on Joe. She was in on EVERY aspect of his life. His father is her manager, she is close to the family, they both do shows for Disney, did Oceans song together, filmed Camp Rock 2 together and now are touring together. Too much togetherness gets irratating. You need a little space. I think she was just too all over Joe for him to even breathe.
