This movie should have made more based on the fact that 1. It's a family film & those almost always do super well too, 2. This franchise has had 50 years to grow an audience 3. Selena is pretty well known & they promoted the movie as a Selena Gomez movie. They didn't even mention Joey's name in trailer even though she was the main star.

As someone who went to see R&B I know that it was made well and it hit on everything it should have. The fact that it is a family movie means it is not meant to be a blockbuster. R & B is nothing more than a great family feel good movie. The fact that it only cost 15 mil. to make means it only needs to make 15 mil and 1 dollar to make money. This movie will make most of it;s money on the backend DVD's Final tally will probably be around 75 mil. when all is said and done.

Mileys the only disney star who is a decent actress great singer great performer and song writer she has it all which is why shes so popular. SHe does not need to be the best in all 3 but the fact that she is good in all 3 is what makes her this huge star.
