This is the main Emmy Awards, the BIG huge one A-listers go to, not the cheesy Z-list primetime emmy awards.
Miranda Cosgrove wasn't invited, she showed up at a pre-Emmy swag event and a post-Emmy party but didn't get an invite for the main event. And Miranda stars in iCarly.. Ariana is only a co-star on victorious-the less watched new show..
Victoria Justice wasn't invited. None of the Disney stars were invited (except probably Miley Cyrus because she has an extremely high profile).
no actually, you don't get an invite at the Emmys because you're on TV. You get an invite because you're either a high profiled hugely popular adult star of a top rated major TV show, you're part of a show that has been nominated for an Emmy or part of a show that was nominated for Emmys before.
Ariana isn't any of those. She's a new costar on a relatively new tween Nick show and basically unknown to the majority of the planet except those who watch that show.. she's also unknown to mainstream media outlets.

Victoria and other Nick and Disney kids were invited to the Emmys. No one went because it’s considered poor taste in Hollywood to go to an award show like the Emmys if you’re not nominated or presenting. If you are invited as someone’s date, then that’s a little different. You couldn’t honestly believe that the stars of all those shows weren’t invited...they get invites to everything, they just know when to pass.
I really am ignoring all of y'alls comments, because Ariana is gorgeous. No matter what anyone else thinks. :]
