She started her CD last year. Didn't Miley started her singing like 4 years ago along with HM? That was when DC advertised/put everything into her and her HM character. While now, they're dividing in between the trio. R&B has not yet hit theater, I do not know how it will do. However, WOWP The Movie and ACS has done well with it's sell. Considering the awards they've won. I believe that is success. You count album sell and billboard chart, yet you don't count the awards? The Emmys are a big thing. And Selena was successful with that. We're both biased.

But I'm far from a teenie, yet I still like Selena's songs and her singing. She is getting better. On the other hand, I don't like Miley's music (don't like her either, don't hate her though) aside from The Climb and maybe some other songs. So teenies aren't the only ones who can actually like Selena and her music.

It did make a profit, however and that is not terrible. I never expected it to do wonder. I'm going to pull Salt in here and say that Salt has not yet made a profit last time I checked (maybe a week ago) eventhough they've gotten 110 millions from theater. R&B is just that type of movie where only girls will see it. Boys on the other hand, would never want to see it. So it's audience would be chopped in half. Most people would just say they will buy it when it comes out on DVD.
