I'd bet good money that these two met way before the premiere. They were probably talking all along and planned to meet up in London and yes I too believe that Joe left Demi for her as well. He'll probably do it again to Ashley when someone hotter comes along. SMH

when you grow up you'll see that there is nothing strange in showing affection to the person you love... of course if you have a friend tagging along things can be a bit weird. hes growing up.. this is prob his first adult relationship and he prob realizes that it doesnt matter what people think about him and ashley its what him and ashley think about each other... and hes not excactly running around the world telling everyone about him and ashley its people that keep getting him on photo and i still havent heard him come out and say yes ashley and i are together, which he will prob admit to soon too. he prob really likes ashley and doesnt care who knows it... i say good for him...

I don't think that is what happened. I think they may have met at those awards, and maybe when they met Joe realized he maybe felt attraction or butterflies, or pretty much the things he was supposed to be feeling for Demi and he wasn't. And that was when he realized he didn't feel the way about Demi that a boyfriend should feel about the girl he was supposed to be in love with. That is when he figured out he was confusing friendship with romance, and decided to end it with Demi. I don't think he broke up with Demi to date Ashley. I don't think he started pursuing Ashley until they met up again in London because at that time they were both single.
