Source told E! News that early stages of the police investigation indicate that it is ‘highly unlikely’ that Justin Bieber will be charged for assaulting a 12 year old boy during a laser tag match. The surveillance tape from gaming facility failed to capture what happened and eyewitness statements do not back up the claims made by the 12-year-old boy. The investigation is ‘still active.‘
Mother Pattie Mallette is currently looking for an attorney to protect her interests after concerns that she’s being cut out of his career, reports Radar Online. Pattie started Justin’s career by posting videos of his performance on YouTube. She said she never got to read Justin’s recently-released autobiography and she had no idea that cuticle care brand O.P.I. had teamed up with Justin to release a line of Justin Bieber nail polish.
Source said: ‘No one in Justin’s camp told her or consulted her. She found out about it by reading it in the press. Pattie is so upset she’s looking for a lawyer to represent her interests. She’s in a tough position. She feels that she’s being cut out of her son’s business life by the people around him. She doesn’t know what to do. It was a big step for her to finally go out and look for a lawyer for herself. Now we’ll see if she follows through.
She doesn’t want anyone to think she’s after her son’s money, and she’s not, but she hasn’t bought clothes for herself in two years! She flies coach. Her son writes an autobiography and no one even shows it to her. It’s ridiculous. And Pattie is really tormented over it.’
