I was a fan of demi, but not anymore. she was a sweet sweet girl. but she has changed. I don't know when exactly she changed, but that's when she started to wear havier make up than before. and when she stopped being friend with Selena.
it's not that I'm supporting Selena more, but... look, she's busy with her UNICEF stuffs, reaching her dreams, & all. but Demi, she got many rumours about drugs & this. & her famous friend has got so many rumours about doing pole dancing & all.
it just makes me think... were Selena & Demi fought because Demi has changed? I'm still curious about the reason they stopped being bff. & all of a sudden Demi's really close with Miley like she's known her as long as she know Selena :/

IMO, the blaming and hating on Joe/Ashley about Demi's current condition needs to stop because it is not their fault of why she was admitted to the treatment center. She has been going through these type of problems for many years before Joe and her became best friends and dated. I do think what Demi is doing for herself is a very noble and brave thing because a lot of young girls and women go through these types of issues every day. It’s great to see a celebrity getting help for themselves and showing that they are not perfect as many of us picture them as. I hope that she will get well soon and become a stronger person that I believe she will be. <3
If that's the real reason Joe broke up with her, then good for him. How do you help someone who doesn't want to be helped? I'm no Joe stan, but come on! I seriously doubt he sat idly by while she self-destructed. I'm sure he tried talking to her, tried to get her to settle down, tried talking to her management, etc, but exactly how much of this was his responsibility? He was 20 years old, trying to "save" a 17 year old. If no one else was listening or paying attention, what else was he supposed to do? For all we know, maybe it came down to an ultimatum; him or the partying, and she chose the partying? We'll never know unless they personally decide to disclose it.
None of this happened overnight. The ultimate responsibility starts with her parents, who let their teenage girl run wild, and didn't set boundaries. For them to claim in the article that they didn't know how to deal with the situation is complete bs. The resources are out there. Anyone that can operate a telephone can access them. The bottom line is that they, along with the whole management team, chose to look the other way.
I was one of those fans that was really disappointed in Joe for bringing Ashley on tour. I thought it was cruel. I've begun to change my perspective. Perhaps part of the reason was to actually help Demi. She needed to see what a healthy happy relationship looked like. She needed to see what she gave up. She needed to hit rock bottom. It's too bad that it took as long as it did, and that others were hurt in the process.
I'm glad the girl is getting the help she needs, and the people around her are finally acknowledging how truly ill she is.
I'm hopeful that when she is healthy and on the right path, perhaps she and Joe can try to patch up their friendship.

WTF you are an idiot. Demi has MENTAL ILLNESS. Most likely depression or borderling personality disorder, which led to her freak outs, panic attacks, eatind disoder and drug use. It is out of her control. The msot she can do now is get medicated and get help. Demi didn't "change". Stop judging her.
