Evanna, 'JK Saved Me From Anorexia'
Harry Potter starlet Evanna Lynch revealed JK Rowling saved her from battling anorexia. Evanna had anorexia for two years from 11 and wrote to JK begging for help, reports The Sun: 'I told her the books gave me hope, particularly Luna Lovegood. I told how I looked up to her. She wrote back and was like a
counsellor. She told me anorexia is destructive, not creative, and the brave thing was not to succumb to it. I told her I'd love to be in the films and she encouraged that but said I'd need to be well to do so. & I think that's why I recovered.'

She wasn't trying to get JK to solve her problems; she was just venting to her favorite author, that's what most people do in fan letters is talk about their lives and how that person has effected their lives.
