I think Taylor still has the mindset that in order to be a rock singer you have to be unhappy looking, bitchy, and wear all black with emo makeup. She has the voice, so she doesn't need to do all of that. I've always known she is nice, but she is going through that teen rebellion "figuring out who I am" phase. Maybe when she gets older she tone down the whole act a little.
It's a shame people don't realize what a sweetheart she is. I've always loved her and now that she dresses "normal" everyone likes her?

I'm not sure what icon you're talking about but are you talking about the bindi she's been wearing lately? Because that's not really hindu related as much as it is indian/bengali culture related.
i met her at warped tour and i, among many other people, waited in line to take a picture with her. every single picture, she gave a mean grimace, like a mug shot. we were her fans! i dont know why she felt she had to act like a bitch around us. her band mates were funny. when i went up, one guy was like, "no you cant have a picture" and i was like, "what?" and he was like, "oh im just kidding, you" she made sure her cigarette box was attached to her lingerie costume thing, and you can see it in the picture. its weird, she used it almost as if it was a security blanket or something idk but my friends and i were surprised at how mean she acted. but in some interviews she acts gracious. i think it all depends on what mood she's in.
