Vanessa Hudgens told People that she are Zac Efron are 'good' after ending their four-year relationship. At her Las Vegas birthday party at Pure she dished: 'We're good', while giving a thumbs up. Earlier, she posed for with fans and her three-tiered floral birthday cake. Shortly into the night, curtains were closed around her table, providing her group with privacy. Nessa said that she had a 'good year.. I worked a lot in 2009. I did two..
..movies back to back, so this year I just hung out, took it easy, did a play which was a lot of fun, did a movie and now the year is coming to an end before I know it. It's going to be a very, very busy year/ I have three movies coming out in the next year, so I'm excited to see what the future is going to hold.'

well, let's give the gal a break....she's releasing 3 movies in '11, and Beastly was pushed back to next year as well. so i think she is just really starting her career. maybe regrouping from the HSM phase and trying to pick smart roles that will do away with that pesky disney image. and Zac has done a more movies, but i wouldn't say their oscar worthy....
my problem with vanessa is her style. y'all have heard me rant about it once, and i'll rant about it again. homegirl needs a stylist. for real. i mean, COME ON. that dress looks like it came straight out of a forever21 rack. v, you're gorgeous, but please...just...stop.

Ashley Tisdale isn't even the star of Hellcats, she's a costar of it and the girl has become such a Z-list person, all she ever gets to do is teen straight-to-DVD movies and TV movies. She's doing a Sharpay Disney Channel TV movie at the age of 26 years old! the girl will be in her late 20s (near 30s) by the time her Disney Channel Original Movie comes out. Her career is over.
At least Vanessa is getting blockbuster movie roles, Sucker Punch is predicted to make a LOT of cash and so is the 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' movie franchise sequel. Vanessa is getting major roles in bockbusters, that's something none of the supporting cast (costars, like Ashley and Monique Coleman) of HSM are getting.
Ashley is the one stuck doing Disney Channel original movies in her late 20s... Vanessa has a lot of high profiled movie roles.. that can never be compared to a supporting role in Hellcats (that Ashley has).

Okay wow, first of all, she's not a costarring role. She even gets second billing. Her and Aly Michalka are the stars, not just Aly. If you knew anything about the industry you'd know that costar means a small part in one episode. That's definitely not Ashley's part. Secondly, Vanessa has never done a "blockbuster" movie since the HSM franchise. Bandslam made 3 million; That is a complete flop, and the opposite of blockbuster. If you want to talk Z-list, Vanessa's the one to talk about. Bandslam was super Z-list, and Sucker Punch is a Z-list movie, along with Beastly. If she was anything but irrelevant she would be doing actual blockbuster films like other actresses her age. Like Carey Mulligan for example, who was even up for an Oscar for Best Actress last year. Just because she's doing movies doesn't mean they're blockbusters. In the US in 2007 there were 603 films released, and of them probably about 50 or less were blockbusters. Doing a movie and having photographers around you doesn't make you a successful actress.

people do take breaks, you know. my best friend has been with her boyfriend for over 5 years, and they've taken a break or two; sometimes you do need your space. and they're young; they DEFINITELY need space and time to live before even thinking about committing to each other forever. sometimes people meet the right person, they just meet them too early. they still have a right to live their life, so they put the relationship on hold for a bit. these two could get back together. a break-up doesn't always mean for good.
