No she didn't, she never promoted her album on mainstream US talk shows. Talking about your album on TV and singing songs from your album on TV is the only way to get noticed but record label never sent on her on these kind of things in the USA, they did in South America and Europe but not USA. That's why her album flopped in the USA and is a top ten hit in several non-US countries.
