Producer Frank Marshall tweeted about new voice roles for the US version of Arrietty: The Borrower: 'Beginning to record Arrietty's parents, who will be voiced by Amy Poehler & Will Arnett. This should be fun..' David Henrie & Carol Burnett were cast as the voices of the human 'beans.'

Bridgit Mendler plays title character. Film is directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi, w/ Hayao Miyazaki supervision. Updates Mary Norton 1952 novel The Borrowers by moving the story to a modern Tokyo suburb. The story follows the 'little people' who live under the floorboards of a regular human family.
