Recovering Disney actress Demi Lovato made her way to A New Journey Eating Disorder Center in Santa Monica, California on January 31. Demi was in a hurry to get inside with her little notebook in hand but with a smile looking happy to be getting on with her life.
You can still see the scars on her wrist from her rumored 'cutting' phase. Demi spent a few months in a rehab center where she was undergoing treatment for emotional issues and is currently getting back to her daily routines with a few adjustments. Photos: Fame.

She's heading into an outpatient facility to continue on with treatment. People who are serious about getting help tend to do so. You don't just got to rehab for a couple of months and come out and everything gets better. It all takes time and adjustments.

You are stupid. Not all eating disoders mean you are under weight. Bulimics(which demi is) even tend to gain weight in some cases from the food binging. And their faces can sometimes get bloated from the purging.

You are correct. There is such a thing where a person can look in a mirror and literally the person staring back at them is twice their actual size. It's called body dysmorphia.
I hope Demi recovers her mental health. Right now there are two Demis. Her mind is divided in half: crazy Demi and sane Demi. Both Demis will collide and fight and the combat will take place deep inside her brain. Finally sane Demi will win and the original Demi will return to us minus the crazyness. Anorexia nervosa and bulimia are psychological and mental illnesses with PHYSICALLY DETRIMENTAL OUTCOMES. Anorexia nervosa is the obsession and fear of food; you can have symptoms of Anorexia and not necessarily be incredibly thin. The same goes for bulimia. So don't say Demi doesn't "look" or "act" like she has an eating disorder. She very well does if she's attending an eating disorder clinic and I applaud her for it. You people are disgusting. Really.

Well since we're being honest here... I am bulimic. I'm a guy and weigh 175lbs and 5'8. I think i look disgusting and I make myself throw up because I am dissatisfied with the way I look. I've lost like 20lbs from being bulimic. I dont want to stop because I want to be as skinny as everyone else.. I want to be 135 lbs... my mom keeps telling me if I keep doing this she's going to put me in a treatment center. But I dont want to... idk what to do. I want to lose weight so badly... ive been 'bigger/fat' all my life.

Well since we're being honest here... I am bulimic. I'm a guy and weigh 175lbs and 5'8. I think i look disgusting and I make myself throw up because I am dissatisfied with the way I look. I've lost like 20lbs from being bulimic. I dont want to stop because I want to be as skinny as everyone else.. I want to be 135 lbs... my mom keeps telling me if I keep doing this she's going to put me in a treatment center. But I dont want to... I don't know what to do. I want to lose weight so badly... ive been 'bigger/fat' all my life.

You need to get help for that. It's not healthy. You have to stop before something really bad happens. Try and lose the weight by working out normally and not hurting yourself. (Sorry I don't really know what to put and people were ignoring your comment and I feel bad.)
