she wrote almost an entire album about Nick as well. sometimes it doesn't seem like it, but I think Miley really loves with all her heart, and it is sad to see someone like that have unsuccessful relationships. but she'll find the right person one day.
and by the way, it seems as if almost the entire "Can't Be Tamed" album is about Liam, but more than one of those songs is actually about Nick.
