Well, I've always felt like Nick and Miley's personalities clash. That would explain why they didn't work out, no matter how hard they tried. Surely they had some things in common (music, writing, being in the business) but that's not enough to keep two people together. And the way they talk about it makes me feel like Miley was head over heels for him and Nick liked her a lot, but wasn't in love. He always tries to downplay the fact that they dated saying "I was fourteen"
Joe and Miley? Ehh. They are both extroverts and really "out there." So them being friends kinda makes sense. BUT I think the Jonases are too classy for Miley. Just my opinion I guess.

Not really, Miley loved Nick and you could tell that Joe might have had a little crush on Miley but she didn't feel the same. Even if Joe did stick up for her when Nick and Kevin didn't and he treated her better, Miley was in love with Nick not Joe.
I'm still bitter about it though, Nemi and Moe would have been so much better.

I feel like everyone forgets that miley was in LOL with ashely greene and they seemed to get pretty chummy so 1. she probably also hung out with joe and 2. that may be why her and demi aren't as 'omg bffs' anymore.
