Maybe if you were able to watch the entire show, you would understand why their samba was done that way. They are assigned the dance and don't get to choose their songs or costumes, so I think they did a great job making it all work.

When people are on "Dancing With The Stars", you know they have no relevant work to do.
Good dance skils, though.
I don't want to judge, but that routine was everything but a REAL samba. I'm not blaming Chelsea or her partner, i'm just saying the truth. Before making up with some random thing and call it samba, they should watch some Carnaval videos AT LEAST! Samba is so much harder and rhythmic than this. And also, this was the worst song choice ever. I love Miley, but Party in the USA has nothing to do with samba. Try Sergio Mendes and other true brazilian "sambistas" (samba singers). The level of the show would increase so much more if they sticked to the original.
