The movie has a 100 million dollar budget so it can't afford to be seen as a girlie movie. I assure you, Kristen in a pretty ball gown will repulse male viewers unless she is half naked in that ball gown/ going to have a sex scene!
Kristen Stewart is an award winning actress so I am confident that she can act...Lilly Collins on the other hand makes me worry. Nepotism in Hollywood as always. But I guess different tastes since Selena Gomez is seen as a credible actress on this site.

Everyone complaining about KStew not being able to act are stupid. Watch one of her movies other than Twilight. She CAN act, which is why critics ALWAYS praise her in movies outside of Twilight.
You should watch SPEAK or some of her other movies before Twilight if you think she can't act..
There's two movies based on snow white coming up in 2010, one with Kristen and one with Lily. As far as I know the one Kristen, called "Snow white and the huntsman", has a big twist in the story. Apparently the Huntsman is ordered to take Snow White (Stewart) into the woods to be killed, but winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen. And the one with Lily called "The brothers Grimm: Snow White"" is yet another twist where Snow White and the seven dwarfs look to reclaim their destroyed kingdom, or something like that.
I think they both looks promising, even though it's kind of dumb to have two movies about snow white within the same year, but what the hell do I know...

THIS MOVIE IS A DIFFERENT, NEW ANGLE AT THE STORY. I'm excited! I personally think it looks much better than that whole Alice in Wonderland bull that was just messed up.
Lily Collins' version reminds me of the Alice and Wonderland approach. Good for her, she's snow white too.
But I personally think Kristen is a great actress, no matter what you Selena, Miley, and Demi stans think. I love those girls, don't get me wrong, but they really aren't that great at acting seriously. Kristen is AMAZING if you guys took the time to watch her other movies.
So in conclusion, I cannot wait for this version.

i love kristen stewart! i think she'll do pretty good as snow white, i wanted to see her as snow white than lilly collins (no offense to her) i just like kstew better...can't wait to see this movie =)

IT is called snow white because it has some resemblance to the story. but there is no silly girlie storyline and singing with animals that can talk and dancing and things.
